Bret has been a critical asset to our Rocket League team in his role as captain with managing game day logistics, reschedules, and registrations. He is a calm voice during even the most tilt-inducing matches and is always willing to review playbacks with his teammates to learn and grow. As he prepares to graduate, he is also assisting some of our new, less experiences players with suggestions on improving their gameplay. We have many rockstar students but Bret has consistently gone above and beyond to help our emerging program.”
Owen Brinkman plays Overwatch for the Mariemont High School Warriors. He used to play support and over the quarantine period he started to main DPS. Nathan Eten, Head Coach of the Mariemont esports program and NAECAD member states, “Owen is now one of our best DPS players and is a budding leader for our new esports program.” Coach Eten looks for Owen to continue to lead the Warriors throughout the fall in Overwatch and continue to grow in his leadership skills and positive influence on the esports program.
