NAECAD Names New Marketing Coordinator

The National Association of Esports Coaches and Directors mission is to serve, legitimize, and advance competitive esports at all levels with NAECAD members at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development. Over the recent months, the NAECAD has experienced tremendous growth which as anticipated, has increased demands and workloads. In order to fulfill its mission, the NAECAD recognizes the need for additional staffing.  The NAECAD is pleased to announce the welcoming of Jack Buttjer as the Marketing Coordinator.  Mr. Buttjer comes to the NAECAD with experience both in traditional sports and esports. Now, as retired college football player, he enjoys disc golf and recreational gaming alike. His favorite games are NBA 2K, Call of Duty and Minecraft. He is from Ankeny, Iowa and now lives in Des Moines.  Jack has proven to be effective in improving community building and engagement. He is young, fun and energetic, a combination that is relatable to our esports audience. His expertise and qualifications will ensure confidence that appropriate communication will occur given its members are busier than most.

Communication and engagement play a significant role in ensuring everyone’s efforts are maximized to advance the sport and create better experiences for players, coaches, directors, schools and communities.”

The roles and responsibilities of Jack will continue to evolve as the demands and needs change, but nonetheless, he will play a significant part in bringing value to the NAECAD members and the organization.
